The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time – Play – Village Theatre Watched “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time” at Village Theatre. Minimalist set. Nice visual/audio effects. Not a fan of the play-within-a-play literary device. Love the name “Wellington!” #autism
Marie, Dancing Still – Musical – 5th Avenue Theatre Closing weekend to “Marie – Dancing Still” with 5th Avenue Theatre. The ballet theme lent a unique beautiful graceful elegance to this musical. Side note, this was the first time I’ve attended a professional show that abruptly paused midway for technical difficulties!
Michael BublĂ© – Concert – Tacoma Dome View this post on Instagram Probably the only person at @MichaelBuble’s #concert who wasn’t a middle-aged lady on #girlsNightOut or a guy forced to #dateNight ?. Golden voice, high def projections, & awesome #stagePresence (albeit a little #pandering). Jesus Christ Superstar – Musical – Cornish College of the Arts “Jesus Christ Superstar” w/ Cornish College of the Arts. Unexpected post-apocalyptic tribal airport theme. Casting (mostly gender-blind) was not well suited for vocal ranges & the shortage of male theatre actors was grossly apparent. Great band & choreography though.
