Watched Patience, or Bunthorne’s Bride unaware that it was an 1800s opera instead of a musical. I imagine Spamalot would have been like this if produced more than a century ago. Terribly corny! — attending Patience, Bunthorne’s Bride at Seattle Repertory Theatre.
Attended Antony and Cleopatra unaware that it was a staged reading/talkback of a William Shakespeare play (Ugh, flashback to English lit). I’ve gotta read the synopsis before going to these things. Watched the Sweet Land Musical. Probably my last time at Taproot Theatre. Their season selections (though performed well) are always so slow, sentimental, and old-timey. — attending Sweet Land, the Musical at Taproot Theatre.
