String – Village Theatre Watched the Village Originals Beta Series musical “String.” The three Greek Sisters of Fate have been cast out of Mount Olympus and work at the top floor of a skyscraper. Great storytelling. There’s good and bad woven into the tapestry of life.
Here Lies Love – Seattle Repertory Theater Take two at the Imelda Marcos musical Here Lies Love with Paul and I’m convinced there is no perfect seat in this 360′ house. Novel-yet-distracting staging and dance club theme but great storytelling and songs.
The Pirates of Penzance – Lakewood Playhouse Ventured to Siberia to see “The Pirates of Penzance” musical. After the opening number, I thought, “Oh God, intermission can’t come soon enough.” Womp womp.
