Attended the last performance of First Date The Musical. Definitely reeked of community theater quality but it's still one of my favorite musicals so we'll give this production a pass. Hetty Kate and Casey MacGill – JazzVox Concert Series

Kiss Me Kate – Seattle Musical Theatre at Magnuson Park

Saw the Cole Porter musical “Kiss Me Kate.” Good community theater production but kinda misogynist. Side note, Seattle seriously needs to be less casual. Guy sitting next to me needed a bath AND he took off his house slippers! — at Seattle Musical Theatre.

Jersey Boys – Keller Auditorium

Watched the national tour of the musical "Jersey Boys." Oh the lengths I'd go (Portland) to see a show. While we had a hard time understanding some lyrics/dialogue (typical of the PNW), it was worth it. Sister Act – Musical – Mini Review – Cornish Playhouse

Watched the stage version of Sister Act. Loved the groovy disco vibe, witty quips, and hilarious songs. Well-written and strong performance overall. But the individual actors by themselves were not showstopping. Also, I’m pretty sure Seattle’s ethnic shortage forced the production’s casting to be more “colorblind.”
