“Diary of Anne Frank” stage adaptation w/ Indiana Repertory Theatre at Seattle Children’s Theatre. Anne was annoying! Peter was cute & endearing. Surprised they’d show this play to kids. I guess it’s good to teach them early. #WWII #Nazis #Jews #Holocaust
“Three Tall Women” w/ Twelfth Night Productions. Plotless play where the characters just sit around talking. Good lesson for millennials about the inevitable decline from invincible self-assured optimistic youth to senile broken mortal decrepitude. Impressive line memorization for the old lady.
Watched “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time” at Village Theatre. Minimalist set. Nice visual/audio effects. Not a fan of the play-within-a-play literary device. Love the name “Wellington!” #autism
Closing weekend to “Marie – Dancing Still” with 5th Avenue Theatre. The ballet theme lent a unique beautiful graceful elegance to this musical. Side note, this was the first time I’ve attended a professional show that abruptly paused midway for technical difficulties!
Probably the only person at Michael Buble’s concert who wasn’t a middle-aged lady on girls night out or a guy forced to date night ?. Golden voice, high def projections, & awesome stage presence (albeit a little pandering).
