Skeleton Crew – Play – Geffen Playhouse

Watched — Watched “Skeleton Crew” – a play about the tragic declining “rust belt” factories in the midwest. Not a lot of action but really good dialogue.

ZM – Musical – Village Theatre

Watched — Watched “ZM” – an overly-cheesy developing musical about a zombie apocalypse caused by a new fast food burger. Unless there’s a weird cult following or a massive script overhaul, I don’t anticipate this going to the mainstage next year.

Macbeth – Play – Seattle Repertory Theatre

Watched William Shakespeare's tragic play Macbeth. Old english made it difficult to follow especially with no set changes between scenes and double/tripple/quadruple role casting. Guys and Dolls – Musical – Blanchet Bishop Performing Arts

Opening night to Guys And Dolls Musical. Light and cute old timey show. Good production budget. Unconvincing portrayal of mobster-like gamblers.

Hairspray – Musical – Village Theatre

Best Hairspray version I've seen so far (out of 5). Will probably see again. It was interesting to hear Tracy with a more full-bodied (no pun intended) non-squeaky voice.
