“Anastasia – The Musical” stage adaptation of the animated film felt tepid. Background graphics alternated between enriching & cheesy. Appreciated the Soviet antagonist instead of the movie’s corny Rasputin.

“The Winter’s Tale” musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s play. Disappointed @SeattleRep produced this year’s performance as a film instead of a live show because of covid. But I’ll give them a pass for these trying times … and for the free annual ticket!
