A Doll’s House, Part 2 – Play – Seattle Repertory Theatre “A Doll’s House, Part 2” at Seattle Repertory Theatre. While I acknowledge the longstanding unfair gender inequality in our patriarchal society, I wanted to watch an entertaining play – not listen to a preachy lecture about feminism. #Ibsen
The Woman in Black – Play – Seattle Repertory Theatre “The Woman in Black” ghost play at Seattle Repertory Theatre. Slow start had me planning to leave at intermission but it morphed into a chilling, haunting, edge-of-your-seat, scary, suspenseful, spine-tingling, gothic thriller. Great use of light, sound, & 2-person cast.
Last of the Boys – Play – Seattle Repertory Theatre Watched the play “Last Of The Boys” at Seattle Repertory Theatre. Despite how amazing & realistic a set is designed, it’s challenging to craft an interesting play when the set doesn’t change. #veterans #vietnamwar #ghosts #dull
In the Heights – Musical – Seattle Repertory Theater Sold out Seattle run of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Tony Award-winning musical “In The Heights.” Better than Hamilton. Great Sonny character portrayal. Awesome voices!
A Thousand Splendid Suns – Play – Seattle Repertory Theatre Attended the stage play adaptation of A Thousand Splendid Suns. The portrayal of misogynist tyranny in Afganistan was like watching a Taliban Lifetime special (in a good way). Guys are born with so much privilege.
