Arsenic & Old Lace – Play – Taproot Theatre Sold-out standing-room-only murder comedy play “Arsenic & Old Lace” at Taproot Theatre. An understudy-less actor was sick & the set designer read lines really well w/ a script on stage! #TheShowMustGoOn. Dialogue & eccentric characters reminded me of English humor.
Charlie Brown Christmas – Musical/Play – Taproot Theatre Last day of the sold-out Charles Shultz “Charlie Brown Christmas” stage adaption at Taproot Theatre. I need to stop seeing kid-friendly shows. Nice how the schroeder character accompanied the musical (or play?).
Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery – Play – Taproot Theatre Watched the terribly corny play “Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery.” Five actors portrayed 35 characters. Liked how one of the main characters was Texan. Represent!
Sweet Land – Musical – Taproot Theatre Watched the Sweet Land Musical. Probably my last time at Taproot Theatre. Their season selections (though performed well) are always so slow, sentimental, and old-timey. — attending Sweet Land, the Musical at Taproot Theatre.
Crowns – Musical – Taproot Theatre Watched Crowns The Gospel Musical. Good songs but no subtantial plot. They were literally just talking about wearing hats! There’s only so much you can say. — attending Crowns at Taproot Theatre.
