Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery – Play – Taproot Theatre Watched the terribly corny play “Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery.” Five actors portrayed 35 characters. Liked how one of the main characters was Texan. Represent!
Sweet Land – Musical – Taproot Theatre Watched the Sweet Land Musical. Probably my last time at Taproot Theatre. Their season selections (though performed well) are always so slow, sentimental, and old-timey. — attending Sweet Land, the Musical at Taproot Theatre.
Crowns – Musical – Taproot Theatre Watched Crowns The Gospel Musical. Good songs but no subtantial plot. They were literally just talking about wearing hats! There’s only so much you can say. — attending Crowns at Taproot Theatre.
A Civil War Christmas – Musical – Taproot Theatre Front row in the last, sold-out performance of “A Civil War Christmas” musical, which was basically a civil war version of “Love Actually.” Old-timey 1800s American historical fiction isn’t my favorite genre … but it was alright. ‘murica y’all!
